Itinerary

City Tour of Budva

Our tour of Montenegro continues early in the morning from Tirana by the side of Buna River toward the southern part of Montenegro, along some of the picturesque Riviera and tiny rocky beaches.

Church of St. John (Sveti Ivan)

The Church of St. John, also known as Sveti Ivan, is one of the prominent landmarks within Budva's Old Town in Montenegro. It is centrally located within Budva's Old Town, making it easily accessible for visitors exploring the narrow cobblestone streets of the historic district. Inside the church, you can find an iconostasis, a screen adorned with religious icons that separates the nave from the sanctuary. These icons are often rich in symbolism and contribute to the overall religious and artistic significance of the church.

Old Town (Stari Grad)

Budva's Old Town is a well-preserved medieval walled city with narrow winding streets, charming squares, and historical architecture. It's home to ancient churches, museums, and iconic landmarks. The Old Town is surrounded by medieval walls that have been standing for centuries. The walls offer a sense of history and protection and provide a great backdrop for exploration. There are several churches within the Old Town, each with its unique history and architecture.

Ballet Dancer Statue

Dancer from Budva one of often visited places in the city, is the Dancer's monument from Budva. Inspired by colorful stories about love, the sculptor Gradimir Alexits created a surprising sculpture from bronze as a certain symbol of devoted and infinite feeling.

The church of Sveti Luka (St. Luke) was painted immediately after the construction of which only the fragments on the south wall remained.

The fortress is located on the hill of St. John (Sveti Ivan) above Kotor's Old Town.
